In the early twelfth century a rebel named Song Jiang led an uprising across Shandong and Henan. The histories recorded him. The people immortalized him. In Water Margin — one of the Four Great Classical Novels of China — he becomes chief of the 108 Heroes of Liangshan Marsh.
They nicknamed him Timely Rain because he arrived for the poor the way a storm arrives for a drought. He robbed grain trains meant for corrupt officials. He wrote the mission on a black banner and planted it in the reeds:
替天行道 Uphold justice on Heaven's behalf.
The West later dressed the same ghost in Lincoln green and called him Robin Hood. China already had the source — a scholar-outlaw with a bow, a brotherhood, and a slogan older than every exchange.

Robin Hood is a costume the West put on a much older ghost. Before Sherwood, before the tights, before the app that took the name — there was a clerk in Yuncheng who got tired of watching officials eat the country. They called him Song Jiang. They called him Timely Rain, because when the poor were drowning he showed up like weather.
He gathered one hundred and eight outlaws in a marsh and refused to kneel. The Song dynasty hunted them. The people made them immortal. Water Margin is not a children's book. It is the original degen epic: seized grain, forged letters, a brotherhood that would rather live as bandits than kneel as livestock.
Robinhood Chain is a chain for the crowd, not the court. That is Song Jiang's entire mythology. The Chinese Robin Hood did not wait for a listing. He built a marsh and invited every outlaw who still had a pulse.
This is not a crossover. This is the source code of the Robin Hood story, inscribed on the chain that stole the name first. The banner is up on Liangshan. The 108 are assembling. The ticker is the name itself.
